Calling on the Community: 2027 Call for Papers Launched

JavaLand is back for another edition: From March 2 to 4, 2027, the community will gather once again at Europa-Park in Rust. Speakers can now submit their proposals for the conference program. The Call for Papers is open until September 14, 2026.

New Topics, Clearer Focus

With JavaLand 2027, the conference program is also evolving. One of the most significant changes is the restructuring of the topic categories: The previous 13 streams have been consolidated into nine topic areas. This is intended to bring related topics closer together, reflect current developments more effectively, and make it easier for attendees to navigate the program.

The focus is particularly on future-oriented topics such as artificial intelligence and AI-powered software development, as well as platform engineering, cloud technologies, security, software architecture, DevOps, and current developments related to Java and the JVM ecosystem.

The Community Shapes JavaLand

JavaLand thrives on the experiences, ideas, and perspectives of its community. That is why we welcome submissions from all areas of software development: from technical deep dives to case studies and architectural topics, all the way to lessons learned from real-world projects.

We are looking for presentations that share knowledge, spark discussions, and provide inspiration for participants' day-to-day work. This call for papers is not only aimed at experienced speakers but also explicitly at new voices from the community.

Submit Your Proposal Now

If you would like to share your knowledge, introduce new technologies, or present exciting project experiences, now is the time to step up. Take advantage of this opportunity through September 14 to actively help shape JavaLand 2027 and become part of a program created by the community, for the community.

The JavaLand team looks forward to receiving many submissions and putting together a diverse program featuring fresh ideas, new perspectives, and the topics that are currently shaping the Java world! For more information, visit the website under "Speaking".
